We’re excited to introduce you to Think Smart – our program designed to help you save money on your energy bills and ease tension on the energy grid, all while keeping your home comfortable year-round. Think Energy is a trusted provider of fixed-price, clean electricity, and Think Smart is the latest way we’re empowering Texans to make the most of their energy.

As a Texas-based customer, you can now join Think Smart and earn monthly credits by connecting your Wi-Fi-enabled thermostat to your account. With Think Smart, your thermostat syncs with the grid every five minutes, pre-conditioning your home during lower-cost periods, and rewarding you with $10 in bill credits each month!

Terms, Conditions and Disclaimers: Enrolling in the Think Smart Program offered by Think Energy, LLC includes eligibility to receive up to two smart thermostats at no initial cost, with free professional installation. A monthly charge of $10 per month will be added to your electricity bill until the total cost for the thermostat(s) is paid in full — 12 months for one thermostat ($120 total) or 24 months for two thermostats ($240 total). After the payment period ends, no additional charges will apply for the thermostat(s). The $10 monthly thermostat charge is offset by a $10 monthly bill credit for customers who enroll in the Think Smart Program. Customers may cancel the plan at any time with 30 days’ written notice. If cancellation occurs before all monthly thermostat payments are completed, the remaining balance will be charged to the customer’s electricity bill (either in a lump sum or installments, at the supplier’s discretion). Thermostats will remain in the customer’s home and will not be retrieved or uninstalled by the supplier. Customers must provide reasonable access to their home for installation, maintain a Wi-Fi connection at the installation site, and ensure their HVAC system is compatible and in working condition. The brand and model of the thermostat(s) will be selected by the supplier based on compatibility and availability at the time of installation. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
