The Coal Association of Canada (CAC) represents companies which explore for, mine, use and transport coal. Members include coal producers, coal-using electric utilities, railroads and ports which ship coal, and suppliers of goods and services. The CAC provides a forum to coordinate the views of its members on matters of common interest. It also provides a respected voice for the Canadian coal industry through communication with members, governments, and public-sector stakeholders.
