For over two decades, we've been known as the Passive Solar Industries Council, or PSIC to our members and friends in the architecture, energy, and construction industries. During that time, our work has touched on all aspects of sustainable design and construction: energy efficiency, renewable technololgies, daylighting, healthy indoor environments, traditional materials, and resource conservation… all the components that make integrated, whole buildings possible. Now our name more accurately reflects our long-standing, performance-based approach to design and construction: The Sustainable Buildings Industry Council, or 'SBIC'. At SBIC, we have the resources to help you build a better world.
